Job summary

Avera St Anthony's Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care on rotating days, evenings, and nights. The role includes weekends/holidays, with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

This position offers the chance to cross-train in ER and OB, plus enrollment in student loan repayment programs. Expect to work 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am, with every 3rd weekend/holiday and a total of 72 hours per two weeks.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating care plans to the health care team.
• Develops nursing care plans based on patient history and current condition.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
• Evaluates care outcomes and adjusts plans to meet standards.
• Maintains a safe, compliant care environment and proper infection control.
