Job summary

SoftPath Medical seeks an experienced ER nurse for a Magnet Level II Trauma Center unit in Arlington. The role is a night-shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, on a 13-week assignment in a high-volume ED with 36 beds and about 65,000 visits annually.

Required are an active VA/Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Immediate start preferred with EPIC experience and training availability.

ER Magnet Level II Trauma Center Nurse Unit

Schedule

Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week

Facility Overview

High-volume emergency department with around 65,000 patient visits annually.

The ED has 36 beds, including 8 designated for express care.

Currently operates as a Level II trauma center.

Provides care for patients ranging from neonates to elderly adults.

Certified as a comprehensive stroke center and offers 24/7 interventional cardiology services.

Recognized as a Magnet-designated facility.

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact nursing license at application time
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• At least 3 years of relevant experience

Additional Information

• Potential exposure to COVID-19
• Weekend shifts: approximately 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (details to be discussed during interview)
