Job summary

Baptist Nassau is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Team in Fernandina Beach, FL. This full-time role performs pre/post procedure assessments, supports care coordination, and educates patients and families on the disease process and plan of care.

Candidates must have 2-3 years of Surgical Services nursing experience, be licensed RNs, and hold BLS and ACLS certifications. Knowledge of gastroenterology and conscious sedation is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2-3 years surgical services nursing experience.

As an RN in Endoscopy, you will be responsible for:

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation
• Ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years Surgical Services Nursing Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing
