Job summary

Baptist Nassau is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy Team in Fernandina Beach, FL. This full-time role requires delivering compassionate patient care through pre- and post-procedure assessments, planning, and coordination with the gastroenterology team.

You will educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care, demonstrate knowledge of conscious sedation, and ensure safe, evidence-based care across gastroenterology services.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Surgical Services nursing experience.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• RN license required.
• ASN degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for endoscopy patients.
• Coordinate care with supportive personnel and ancillary services.
• Educate patients, spouses/families about disease process and plan of care.
• Knowledge of gastroenterology care and conscious sedation.

Baptist Nassau is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy Team! This is a full-time position.

As an RN in Endoscopy, you will be responsible for:

• Assessment
• planning
• implementation
• evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation
• Ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure

Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years Surgical Services Nursing Experience Required

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
• Associate of Science, Nursing
