Job summary

Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy team. This full-time Endoscopy RN role involves patient assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and coordination of care with ancillary services.

Education of patients and families about their disease process and care plan is essential. Required are 2-3 years of Surgical Services nursing experience, BLS and ACLS, and an active RN license with an Associate of Science in Nursing.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Surgical Services nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS required; RN license required.
• ASN in Nursing or equivalent credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; supervise support personnel.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services in the Endoscopy unit.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans.
• Perform pre/post-procedure assessments and assist with conscious sedation as needed.
