Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support the Endoscopy Team at Baptist Medical Nassau. This full-time days role (40 hours/week) is based in Nassau, Fernandina Beach, FL. The technologist will assist during procedures, maintain a sterile environment, hand instruments to surgeons, and uphold patient safety.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and BLS, with less than 1 year of Surgical Technologist and Endoscopy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Less than 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, organize and maintain a sterile field for operative procedures.
• Anticipate the surgeon's needs and progression of the case.
• Ensure proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
• Work with the surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and promote patient safety.
• Call is required for this position.
