Job summary

Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy Team on a PRN basis. Join a faith-based, not-for-profit system delivering comprehensive care across 200 locations.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating care, coordinating with supportive staff, and educating patients and families about procedures. Required AS RN, BSN preferred, Florida RN license, BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• AS RN required; BSN preferred.
• Florida RN license required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Monitor and care for high-acuity or procedural patients.
• Coordinate care with supportive personnel and ancillary services to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments and plans of care.
• Act as patient advocate and promote safety, dignity and satisfaction.
