Job summary

St. Luke’s in Boise is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Endoscopy experience to join our Boise Endoscopy Department. The role involves pre-, intra-, and post-op care for adult and pediatric procedures, with a 1.0 FTE schedule and 80 hours per pay period.

You’ll work 4 ten-hour shifts weekly, with a varied day off, and minimal weekend/holiday call. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time hires; BLS and RN licensure are required.

• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year Endoscopy experience or 2+ years in Critical Care (ED, SICU, MICU, TELE) or 3–4 years Med Surg/Telemetry.

What you can expect:

The Boise Endoscopy Department sees all adult and pediatric cases for multiple types of procedures. Our downtown campus is the Advance Center for ERCP and EUS, EBUS procedures for the St Luke system in the Treasure Valley. Along with these procedures we are also experienced in Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGDs both urgent and emergent cases as well as elective cases. Our nurses are well rounded providing care in pre-op, Intra-op and post-op management.

Sign On Bonus:$7k for full time (new hires)

Schedule: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) 4 (10) hour shifts each week- with a varied day off each week. Shift will most likely be 0700 to 1730 (could change based on procedure schedule).

Call required: Minimal call for weekends, holidays and rarely overnight. Back up call is required as well. Back-up call is 2 weekend days every 12-16 weeks. Shifts (0700-1930). Call response time is 30 minutes.

Job Description Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
• Experience:1+ years Endoscopy experience or 2+ years Critical Care experience (ED, SICU, MICU, TELE) required. Will also consider an RN with 3-4 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice, BLS is required.
