This is an entry-level, full-time position in the healthcare industry, specifically within hospitals and health care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and mobility.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs and educate patients and families appropriately.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas; provisional license for new graduates with a plan to obtain full licensure within 6 months.
• Certifications: BCLS; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
