Endo RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to: Director of Endoscopy Department.

Reports To

FLSA: Non-exempt

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

License: Current RN license to practice in TX; *New Graduates may work under a TX provisional license for up to 6 months with the expectation of obtaining a full RN license within that period. If not obtained within 6 months, practice must cease.

Certifications: BCLS; ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Essential Functions

• Performs care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care accurately.

• Collaborates across disciplines for coordinated care, transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.
• Provides patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
• Acts as an advocate for patient well-being.
