Endo RN provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to: Director of Endoscopy Department.

Reports To

FLSA: Non-exempt

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.

License: Current RN license to practice in the state of TX; *New Graduates may work under a TX provisional license for up to 6 months with the expectation that an RN license will be obtained within the first 6 months of employment. If an RN license is not earned within 6 months, practice must cease immediately.

Certifications: BCLS; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Essential Functions

• Performs care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.

• Collaborates across disciplines for patient care coordination.
• Provides education to patients and families appropriate to their needs.
• Acts as an advocate for patient well-being.
