Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Mount Clemens, MI seeks a Registered Nurse for Emergency Services to deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to uphold standards. Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with Michigan RN licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required or obtained by orientation.

Required

• Graduate of a Nursing Program
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date
• ACLS required by end of unit orientation for CCL, PACU, ENDO, IR, ICU, ED, CDU, CSS, CSU, Ambulatory Surgery, and the Step-Down Unit
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required by end of unit orientation for FBC

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Wound Care Certification (WCC/WOCN/CWCA) if working in Wound Care Center preferred, Wound care Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire date
• One year related specialty care experience preferred for: Cardiac Cath Lab, OR/PASS (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), IR (Interventional Radiology), ICU, Endo, or Ambulatory Surgery
