Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Mount Clemens, MI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide quality nursing care in the 3 S Telemetry unit using the nursing process. You will collaborate with the health care team to uphold professional standards and promote patient and family centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• Active Michigan RN license prior to start
• BLS certification required before start and valid 60+ days after
• ACLS required by unit orientation completion
• NRP certification required by orientation completion

• Plan and implement nursing care based on patient and family needs
• Perform interventions tailored to patient needs
• Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program

Current State of Michigan RN license

BLS certification (AHA/ARC) or Canadian equivalent

ACLS certification by end of orientation

NRP certification by end of orientation

Required

• Graduate of a Nursing Program
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or Canadian equivalent, is required before start date and valid at least 60 days beyond start date
• ACLS required by end of unit orientation for CCL, PACU, ENDO, IR, ICU, ED, CDU, CSS, CSU, Ambulatory Surgery, and the Step-Down Unit
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required by end of unit orientation for FBC

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Wound Care Certification (WCC/WOCN/CWCA) if working in Wound Care Center preferred, Wound care Certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire date
• One year related specialty care experience preferred for: Cardiac Cath Lab, OR/PASS (Post Anesthesia Care Unit), IR (Interventional Radiology), ICU, Endo, or Ambulatory Surgery
