Guardian Flight, Inc. is expanding with a new base in Watford, ND, starting Winter 2027. We are hiring a Flight Nurse to join a team of air transportation experts delivering high-safety patient care during transport and scene calls.

The role involves critical care nursing, certification requirements, and a 10 days on/20 days off rotation, with company-paid crew housing and a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid after training completion.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in emergency or adult critical care as an RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT certification and trauma certification as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided).
• CFRN required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients.
• Use critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatrics.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and regular equipment checks.
• Communicate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and partners.
• Share shift-change information and maintain proper documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

MinimumQualifications:

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s)where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
