FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES
  • Starting Range $99,000-$102,000 annually
  • $10,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of training
  • Schedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotation
  • Company paid crew housing while on shift

We’re hiring Flight Nurses to provide direct patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and/or medical direction. They also assist with coverage of open shifts as needed within the assigned area.

JOB DUTIES
  • Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical care situations.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, conduct regular equipment and base checks, and comply with safety standards and briefings.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
  • Share shift change information with the transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Maintain required certifications and ongoing training necessary for the position.
QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in emergency or critical care setting required.
  • Flight experience preferred.

Education:

  • Current RN licensure in the states served by the assigned area required.
  • EMT Certification in applicable states.
  • AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status. Trauma certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Advanced Certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) preferred and required within 12 months of hire.
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Must be willing to shave facial hair (if needed) to fit an N95 mask.
  • Possess the gross and fine motor skills necessary for full patient care activities.
  • Lift and/or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
  • Have specific vision abilities including close, distant, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
