Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Flight Nurse for its new Watford City, ND base. You will work with air transport teams to safely move patients, including scene calls, upholding high safety standards and patient care on every flight.

The position requires RN licensure, emergency/critical care experience, and CFRN certification within 24 months. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and company-paid crew housing are offered, with a 10 days on/20 days off schedule.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as an RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma Certifications as required by state.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP required or provided during training.
• CFRN certification within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action for critical care patients.
• Manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatrics with physician orders.
• Maintain safe aircraft environment and routine equipment/base checks.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and maintain proper documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES

• Starting Range $86,000-$88,000 annually


• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of training


• Schedule is a 10 days on/20 days off rotation

We're hiring aFlight Nurseto work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you'll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.


• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.


• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.


• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.


• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.


• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

• Committed to being on-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevated standards in safety and service.

MinimumQualifications:

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.


• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.


• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s)where required.


• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).


• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior flight experience


• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
