Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Flight Nurse to join our air transportation team. You will safely transport patients to and from facilities and perform scene call work with a focus on high safety standards and teamwork.

Role requires emergency/critical care RN experience, CFRN within 24 months, and multiple certifications. We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus and company-paid crew housing during shifts, with a 5-on/10-off schedule and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Three years in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license for states served by the area.
• EMT & Trauma certifications as required by state(s).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required before flight; NRP provided during training.
• CFRN required within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients.
• Manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatrics and support physician orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean aircraft environment with base checks and safety briefings.
• Collaborate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and maintain accurate regulatory documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES

• Starting Range $99,000-$102,000 annually
• $10,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of training
• Schedule is a 5 days on/10 days off rotation
• Company paid crew housing while on shift

We're hiring aFlight Nurseto work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you'll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians' orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

• Committed to being on-time, reliable, professional, and meeting our elevated standards in safety and service.

MinimumQualifications:

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s)where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
