Guardian Flight, Inc. in Watford, ND is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transportation team. You will transport patients to and from medical facilities and participate in scene call work, upholding high safety standards and professional care.

The role requires three years in emergency or adult critical care, an active RN license, and required certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS. We offer a starting salary range of $86,000–$88,000 with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and housing while on shift.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT certification & Trauma certification where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best actions for critical care patients.
• Manage care for adult or pediatric patients under physician orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and perform equipment/base checks.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and facilities.
• Document shift change info and maintain required records and certifications.

FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES

• Starting Range $86,000-$88,000 annually
• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in two installments following the end of training
• Schedule is a 10 days on/20 days off rotation
• Company paid crew housing while on shift

We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

MinimumQualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s)where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
