Job summary

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center in Colorado is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced emergency department team. You will assess and stabilize patients in life-threatening emergencies, triage by urgency, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver rapid care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, starting IVs, managing records, and staying current with emergency medicine advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• TNCC certification is required but can be completed within six months of hire.
• Active Colorado RN license required.
• Three years of ER RN experience required; ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the emergency department and stabilize patients in life-threatening emergencies.

At Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated, skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic emergency department team. As an ER RN, you'll play a critical role in delivering fast, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in their most urgent moments.

Pay Range

$44.58 per hour (eligible for shift differentials). PRN (As Needed) position

Shift Differentials

• Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour
• Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour
• Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour

ER Nurse to provide care in emergency room and other critical care settings. Quickly assess conditions and stabilize patients in life-threatening emergencies such as strokes, heart attacks or severe injuries. Triage cases in order of urgency and need.

Administer medication as instructed by physicians. Start intravenous lines, intubations, patient stitches and sutures as directed. Create and maintain incoming patient records. Work closely with team of emergency staff to help patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Current ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification) required. TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course certification) is required but can be completed within six months of hire. Active Colorado RN license required. Three years of previous work experience as an RN is required. Previous emergency room work experience is preferred.
