Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Room team in a full-time role. The position covers 36 hours with shifts from 7:00am to 7:00pm, focusing on patient-centered care and collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree, NC RN licensure, and BLS certification, with at least one year of acute nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing school; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least one year of acute nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient care in the emergency department.
• Establish genuine relationships with patients and their support systems.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and compassion to navigate patient health journeys.
• Maintain accountability for care management in accordance with policies and procedures.
