Job summary

Novant Health in Winston‑Salem, NC is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide rapid assessment and compassionate care for patients experiencing medical emergencies in a fast-paced, collaborative ED.

You will care for patients of all ages with a wide range of illnesses and injuries, from minor conditions to life-threatening emergencies, while upholding high standards of patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; RN licensure required.
• One year relevant experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and compassionate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries—from minor conditions to life-threatening emergencies.

What We're Looking For:

• Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate, preferred. of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
