Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
  • 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience in direct patient care.
  • Demonstrated clinical performance and competency in nursing practice.
  • Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical settings.
  • Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
  • Ability to rapidly orient to different units, patient populations, and care protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care across units, utilizing clinical knowledge to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications or changes in patient condition before significant clinical deterioration occurs
  • Execute a wide range of professional nursing interventions including medication administration, wound care, patient education, and post‑operative care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care
  • Demonstrate flexibility and clinical judgment by rapidly orienting to different units, patient populations, and care protocols within the float pool environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical staff to support quality improvement initiatives and maintain safe patient care standards
  • Work assigned day and night shifts as scheduled to meet organizational staffing needs
