Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Work in a fast-paced, Level 1 Trauma Center with patients experiencing trauma-related, surgical, and medical illnesses of varying acuity and complexity.
• Shift: 36 hours nights, with every other weekend off.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience. Emergency Department experience (pediatrics preferred) or any acute pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with emergency medicine physicians, nurses, mid-level providers, and administrative staff.
• Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems using clinical, scientific, or technical principles, theories, and concepts, supported by in-depth, cross-functional experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current license from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as a Registered Nurse.
