Job Description:

Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has a new registered nurse opening on our Med/Surg C3 Team. This team is a medical/surgical floor with telemetry and respiratory care. This 23-bed unit provides superior care to the adult patient populations with a variety of medical conditions including congestive heart failure, chronic obstruction pulmonary disease, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and enhanced respiratory challenges. Under the mission to provide all patients a voice while delivering community hospital compassion with high-quality personalized care, as a Registered Nurse for this team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observe patient’s progress and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
  • Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Work experience in unit specific specialty preferred.

Schedule: Three 12 hour shifts including weekend and holiday rotation.
