Job summary

Ascension Franklin Emergency Department is seeking a Nursing professional to join our team in Franklin, WI. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, evidence-based care aligned with leading safety standards, while actively advocating for patients and communicating critical updates to the care team.

As part-time weekend coverage, you will coordinate care with physicians and specialists and lead discharge planning to ensure patients and families have the resources for a successful home

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month (30 days) of hire or transfer date.
• RN credentialed from Wisconsin Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.

• Advocate for patients by monitoring progress and communicating updates to care team for timely interventions.
• Coordinate care by linking physicians, specialists, and staff for a unified treatment experience.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi‑state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
