Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an Emergency Department RN to perform rapid triage and determine disposition for EMS and walk-ins. You will collaborate with ED staff to deliver timely, high-quality care and document assessments and patient responses with precision.

The role requires Wisconsin RN licensure, ALS and BLS certifications, and active ED teamwork on the evening shift. Join a dedicated ED team at Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Wisconsin required.
• Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire date required.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date required.
• Wisconsin Board of Nursing licensure or multi-state license required.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
