Job summary

Ascension is seeking aSenior role in Clinical Professional Development to design and launch comprehensive PD programs that standardize clinical excellence and help advance Ascension's health goals.

The role involves national scope with up to 50% travel to market locations, partnering with senior leaders, and mentoring a team of educators to ensure staff reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required prior to hire date or transfer
• 5 years of cumulative job-specific experience with 2 years in leadership/management (or
• Associate's/Bachelor's with 3 years of experience, 2 in leadership/management)

• - Potential travel: up to 50% to market locations (IL, IN, KS, TN, WI, TX, FL, MD, OK).
• - Design and launch comprehensive professional development programs that standardize clinical excellence and directly advance the organizationâs strategic health goals.
• - Nationally support system level education in partnership with the Sr. Director.
• - Forge collaborative partnerships with internal leaders and external stakeholders to co-create learning pathways that reflect the evolving needs of modern patient care.
• - Mentor and develop a high-performing team of educators, fostering a culture of continuous growth and ensuring every staff member is empowered to reach their full potential.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• - Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• - Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained within 18 Months (1 1/2 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• - High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

Additional Preferences:

• - ANPD Certification.
• - Master's Degree.
