Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact; Texas license required within 90 days.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within one month of hire.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What You Will Do in Your Role:

• Care for and manage surgical patients in the post-anesthesia period.
• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.
• Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality outcomes.
• Communicate professionally, demonstrating confidence and active engagement.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the team.
• Maintain accountability for quality nursing care and promote a positive image of nursing.

Qualifications Needed:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of RN clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in Texas or Multi-State Compact; if using a compact license, must obtain Texas license within 90 days.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within one month of hire.
