Job Summary

The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The RN has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.

Specialties and Requirements
  1. ED: BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
  2. OR: Proficiency in hospital software; minimum 3 years OR nursing; circulating and scrubbing skills; call required.
  3. PACU: 3 years critical care; PACU experience preferred; ACLS/PALS required.
  4. ICU: ACLS required.
  5. Cardiac Rehab: 2 years medical/surgical and recent cardiac intensive nursing; BLS, ACLS; knowledge of cardiac rehab principles.
  6. Med Surg: BLS/ACLS; 2+ years experience preferred.
  7. Pediatrics & Labor & Delivery: BLS, PALS; ENPC preferred for Pedi ED; minimum 2 years experience.
  8. Pre-Op Eval: 2 years critical care.
  9. Radiology: 3 years med-surg; critical care preferred; BLS, ACLS required.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Includes patient-centered care, compliance with hospital standards, clinical practice, safety, infection control, human resources policies, and supervisory responsibilities. The RN will plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the healthcare team, educate patients, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and other physical activities as detailed, with specific weight and activity levels.

Work Location and Schedule

Onsite at 81 Highland Avenue, 36 hours weekly, rotating shifts.
