Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day Stay Team in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time position in the Downtown/Main Building requires 2–3 years of Surgical Services nursing experience, and an active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.

You will coordinate peri-operative care and assist with patient flow in a fast-paced Day Stay unit. Join a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving Northeast Florida across 200+ locations and six hospitals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years Surgical Services nursing experience.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and coordinate perioperative care for Day Stay patients.
• Supervise care provided by support staff and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Engage patients and families in developing individualized care plans.
• Prepare and coordinate rooms and cases, anticipate patient needs.
