Job summary

Baptist Health in Downtown Jacksonville is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This full-time role provides critical recovery care to surgical patients and supports seamless coordination with the surgical team.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years in Surgical Services and Critical Care, a current RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a passion for patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2–3 years Surgical Services and Critical Care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in PACU.
• Supervise care by supportive personnel and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in developing the care plan.
• Prepare and coordinate the assigned PACU room/case and anticipate patient needs.
