Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Main OR in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time role involves 3 twelve-hour shifts in the Downtown Main Building.

You will deliver care for diverse surgical patients, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and hospital teams to coordinate comprehensive care. Ideal candidates have 2-3 years OR Circulating Nursing experience, an RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Operating Room Circulating Nursing experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical or surgical condition.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
