Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Tower 4B General Surgical Progressive Care Team. This is a full-time day shift position with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule in the Downtown campus. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified applicants.

The role requires one year of clinical nursing experience, BLS, and a Florida RN license. Preferred AS Nursing degree. Join a faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving Northeast Florida.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• RN license active in Florida or eligible.
• AS Nursing degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical or surgical conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease and plan of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other hospital staff.
• Advocate for patients and participate in unit activities.
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to patient care improvements.
