Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift in Georgetown, KY. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and support residents in daily activities while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will supervise nursing assistants, document care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes. Knowledge of EHRs and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory/charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with federal/state long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort, dignity and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the shift.
• Monitor and report residents' status to physicians and families as needed.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans with the team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Participate in quality assurance, staff education, and regulatory surveys.
