Job summary

TriHealth in Hamilton is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and holistic patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and a care team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs while maintaining safety and dignity.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, RN licensure, BLS, and an obligation to obtain a BSN within five years. Strong clinical skills and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Up to 1 year clinical nursing experience is required.
• Knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral and nursing sciences to meet patient needs.
• Preferred membership in related professional organization is a plus.
• Registered Nurse is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessment and document findings.
• Plan and adjust care plans with patient/family, physicians, and care teams.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment and carry out physician orders.
• Evaluate outcomes and revise plans; supervise delegated care and education.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and monitor effects.
