Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix area is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift in a non-holidays/non-weekends setting. The RN will document patient histories, perform diagnostics, administer medications and IV therapy, and contribute to discharge planning and rehabilitation in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires a BSN or agreement to complete BSN within 60 months, plus 1 year RN experience for float positions. BLS and state licensure are mandatory, with continued learning emphasized.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; ADN/Diploma hires must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire.
• 1 year RN experience for float positions; 10+ months med-surg or acute specialty setting required.
• RN must hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and state/national licensure.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by ANA standards and ethics, maintains patient histories, performs diagnostics, administers treatments and medications, and assists with follow-up and rehabilitation.
• Develops and contributes to individualized care plans, including IV therapy, medication administration, and education for patients and families.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, cost-effective care and supports ongoing professional development.
