AdventHealth in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift position. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care, coordinate patient plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, participate in the Clinical Ladder program, and engage in continuous improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes safety, patient education, and compassionate care for diverse patient populations.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• RN license active and CPR (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and monitor outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance throughout care delivery.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Respond to code events and provide stabilizing interventions as needed.
