Job summary

Mercy is seeking experienced Critical Care Float Pool nurses to support ICU, ED and Progressive Care units. This role is not entry-level and requires confident clinical judgment and adaptability to changing patient needs.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license in Arkansas or a compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) CPR certifications.
  • 2+ years of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care across ICU, Emergency Department and Progressive Care units.
  • Manage high-acuity patients with sound clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in staff education and cross-unit coverage.

Qualifications

Required Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program

Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas or compact state

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) through the American Heart Association

Preferred: 2+ years of critical care experience
