Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated RN to serve as the technical expert and coordinator for surgical patient care on the day shift.

This full-time role focuses on overseeing daily shift activities, staff scheduling, and resource allocation to sustain peak operating room efficiency. You will lead orientation and training for new associates, contribute to performance reviews, and ensure compliance with healthcare policies and safety standards while

Qualifications

• RN licensure (Florida) required.
• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire or transfer date.
• Diploma or higher in nursing from an accredited program.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
