Capital Health in Illinois is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered team. This full-time role delivers high-quality care through the nursing process and collaborates across disciplines to optimize outcomes.

The position requires TNCC, ACLS, PALS, NRP and stroke certifications, with support for development. Compensation ranges from $45.60 to $62.59 per hour for a 36-hour week, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None. Previous nursing experience preferred.
• AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Registered Nurse - NJ.
• TNCC must be obtained within 1 year of hire with required CNE hours for certain units.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications required/obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through the nursing process.
• Assures patient safety by executing policies & procedures.
• Provides support for pain management and patient comfort measures.
• Collaborates with other departments to follow up on interventions.
• Assists in discharge planning to enable meaningful life activities.
• Participates in Joint Commission readiness and patient satisfaction efforts.
