Qualifications

• Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• NRP, EKG competency, and other unit-specific certifications within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to prevent Healthcare Acquired Conditions and readmissions.
• Perform nursing assessments and collect patient data according to policies and standards.
• Develop and implement the plan of care with patient and family involvement as appropriate.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise diagnoses and care plans as needed.
• Coordinate nursing care and quality with the care team and ensure patient satisfaction.
