Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver evidence-backed nursing care under physician guidance and in line with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the care team.

The role requires an ADN or Nursing Diploma, current ARIZONA RN license or compact state license, and BLS. Additional certifications (PALS, ACLS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., AWHONN Fetal Monitor) are expected

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program.
• Certification/Licensure: Arizona RN license or compact state RN license; BLS certification.
• Unit Specific Requirements: EKG competency within 3 months of hire; PALS within 6 months; ACLS within 3 months; NRP within 6 months; S.T.A.B.L.E. within 6 months; AWHONN Fetal Monitor Course within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Quality of Care and Nursing Process: provide evidence-based care to prevent HAI and readmissions.
• Assessment: collect patient health data and perform comprehensive histories.
• Diagnosis / Care Needs: identify care needs and plan with patient involvement.
• Implementation: base nursing care on diagnoses and standards; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Evaluation: evaluate progress and revise diagnoses as needed.
• Clinical Lead: coordinate nursing personnel and patient care quality to improve satisfaction.
