Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a registered nurse to perform age-specific planning of care using the nursing process and to collaborate with physicians and other health team members in coordinating procedures and treatments. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date.
• Current NY RN license required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, review charts and explain procedures.
• Assess GI, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal and neurological status.
• Develop and document individualized care plans and goals.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team; delegate duties.
• Ensure patient safety, discharge planning and education.
