Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, NJ or NLC multi-stateRN.
• TNCC/Stroke/Critical Care certifications within specified timelines.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through a team effort in nursing process.
• Assures patient safety by executing policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with health care team to plan and adjust patient care.
• Participates in Joint Commission readiness and performance improvement.
