St. Luke’s in Meridian, ID is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic.

You’ll help with rooming, vital signs, intake, and medication reconciliation while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to 18–20 infusion patients daily. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment, assisting with phlebotomy, and cross-training to support lab tasks and APP rooming.

Qualificações

• Current CNA certification or Nurse Apprentice Letter required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.

Responsabilidades

• Room patients for infusion visits and record height, weight, vitals, screening, and med reconciliation.
• Assist with patient intake and guide patients through treatment with compassionate care.
• Clean and prepare infusion chairs and rooms to maintain clinic flow and cleanliness.
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens following safety protocols.
• Cross-train to support lab functions and room patients for APPs.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team in a team-based care model.

Join the Cancer Institute as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supporting patients in an outpatient chemotherapy infusion setting. In this role, you’ll help manage patient flow, assist with clinical processes, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment.

This fast-paced oncology setting serves approximately 18–20 chemotherapy infusion patients daily, with up to 30 total patients per day. Occasional travel (about twice a year) to Boise or Nampa locations may be required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• 0.9 FTE, Day Shift
• 8-hour shifts
• General start times between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
• End times between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Alternating schedule: one week working 5 days and the following week working 4 days

What You Can Expect

• Room patients for infusion visits, including obtaining height, weight, vital signs, screening questionnaires, and medication reconciliation
• Assist with patient intake and guide patients through the treatment process while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Clean and prepare infusion chairs and treatment rooms between patients to maintain clinic flow and cleanliness standards
• Maintain a well-stocked, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect patient specimens accurately while following safety protocols
• Crosstrain to support lab functions and provide rooming support for Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members in a team-based care model
