Job summary

Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LA, is opening a brand-new 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and seeks a skilled Charge Nurse (RN) to lead the night shift.

The Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical oversight for the unit, coordinates daily operations, assigns staff, supports bedside care, and collaborates with physicians to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. This is a full-time night role with a rotating schedule and every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Previous acute care experience required; Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Leadership or charge experience strongly preferred.

We are excited to open a brand-new 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier and are seeking a skilled and motivated Charge Nurse (RN) to lead our team on the night shift.

Shift: 12-hour days, 1845–0708

Schedule: Rotating, with every other weekend off

Position Summary

The Charge Nurse provides leadership and clinical oversight for the unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while supporting and guiding nursing staff. Responsibilities include:
