Job summary

Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Invasive Cardiology team on the day shift, part-time. The RN will assess, position and prepare patients for procedures, monitor during interventions and communicate with physicians before, during and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing is required.
• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed by Florida Department of Health prior to hire date.

• Prepares, implements and documents plan of care. Communicates patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.

• Performs set up and provides equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
