HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our healthcare team. The primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the organization.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; multistate license acceptable.
• 1+ year RN experience in acute care preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment start.
• BCLS required or instructor status within 30 days.
• ACLS provider card required within 6 months.
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred.
• 30 minute call window availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and outcomes.
• Coordinate care with all disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assist with discharge planning in collaboration with the team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will proactively assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements:

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• 1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree,BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card requiredwithin 6 months of employment start date
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
• 30 minute call window
