Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL, seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and protocols. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver safe, high‑quality care while monitoring and coordinating patient care across disciplines.

Requirements include an ASN/BSN, Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, 1 year of acute care experience, and interventional cath lab or critical care experience preferred; 30‑minute

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Florida RN license or approved multistate license is required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• ACLS-Provider card required within 6 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience is required.
• Interventional Cath Lab or critical care experience is preferred.
• 30 minute call window required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans in the cath lab.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate care as primary liaison across disciplines.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. You will proactively assume responsibility and accountability for several patients during a designated time frame while following policies and procedures. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
