Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab Team in Pontiac, MI. The role is full-time with day shifts, focusing on a high-volume cath lab and EP lab environment, with emphasis on safety and patient care.

The RN will assist cardiologists and EP specialists in invasive procedures, participate in critical care activities, and ensure proper pre- and post-procedure patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited nursing program is required
• BSN degree preferred or willingness to obtain BSN within five years
• Current Michigan RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and gowns for surgery to assist the cardiologist in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Performs a variety of specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assists the cardiologist in all surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare patients and monitor their condition during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Cath Lab Team at Trinity Oakland.

Description

Our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We operate 5 advanced labs, including one dedicated EP lab, three Cath labs, and one hybrid lab in the OR.

Our facility includes a cutting-edge Hybrid Operating Room (OR) that allows for seamless integration of both Cath and EP procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and procedural efficiency. Our hybrid cases focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Structural Hearth, Mitral Valve Repair (MVR), and device explants.

Catheterization (Cath) Cases: We handle around 10-14 Cath cases each day, focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements, Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures, and treatment of STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction).

Our team of highly skilled cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and technologists work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care, utilizing the latest technology and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
